Lying twenty six miles to the west of the Cornish coast nestled amongst the small archipelago of islands, the Tresco Abbey Garden were established in 1834 and have been lovingly maintained and developed by five generations of the Dorrien-Smith family ever since. The garden is filled with extraordinary plants from all over the world that flourish in the frost free climate despite being submitted to terrible batterings from the salt laden winter gales.
